1. ART IS THE UNIVERSE
There is universal language. That every culture throughout the world speaks. This language is art. From paintings to sculptures, ART has spoken about the complex nature of man, women and child. To be human is to express the underlining soul within us. This soul is the 'universe'. I am thankful for this.

2. ART CAN CREATE THE WORLD A NEW
The Renaissance is now remembered as a time when people looked back into history with open arms. Willing to take on ancient and classical ideas of what was considered beautiful and meaningful. This way of thinking was displayed in art including paintings, sculptures, architecture and all kinds of other forms. Today art was at a stand still and now there are waves of change. This is coming out through art. It is immediate and also very slow.
3. ART CAN SOLVE PROBLEMS
Peace is a universal concept. This profound way of behaving and thinking has been communicated throughout every world religion. Harmony achieved for the betterment of life and our world solves many of life's problems. Instead of dealing in an angry one must respond with love and kindness. This peace once placed out into the world resonates and becomes harmony.
LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH AND LET IS BEGIN WITH US, acrylic on canvas, 2017
4. ART CAN SAVE LIVES
Art has been a way of life that many people have chosen as it keeps them motivated to participate in life. Art can be the only thing that can get people up out of bed and into the actions of life. Art can be a choice other than suicide. For artists are always the most disturbed among us. These downtrodden artist have a choice to make, either an act of violence or an act of painting a picture. This choice indeed saves lives.
DEATH BECOMES HIM, ACRYLIC ON CANVAS, 2016
Today I worked a painting a bow for the cherub painting. First I Started with free hand drawing. I used several references from a google search on "bows" I believe that the under drawing is very important since, it is the foundation of a painting
The drawing is a chaos. My technique for drawing starts with having multiple lines. Overlapping and free of most intention. I do not plan where the pencil goes. I mostly just feel for the line, and draw several times. I then choose the where the last line shall be based off of the 'chaos lines" i have made. I'm thinking of refining my drawing style by having more intention when drawing. I think that may boost my power levels.
Last is the color. I chose to paint a blue bow, so that the painting can have a harmonious color palette. This photo is after two layers of paint. I have three tones of blue I paint with. Next I will and a final color layer using the renaissance 'glaze" technique. I learned this new technique after seeing a video about the MONA LISA which is also a glaze painting.
I am working on some new paintings. I have three new canvases. i have been thinking a lot about "techadence", so i want to make works that talk about the end of the golden digital age. i believe we are entering into a time where innovation is on the decline. milestones are a thing of the past. It is only the west that was able to create technology and so it is only the west that will experience technological decadence. It is western tradition to rise, climax and fall. i must capture these feelings and ideas in my art.
I woke up today I thanked ART for being alive. I am excited about what today brings. I am reading art articles about post-digital which I find fascinating. I think about my Microsoft painting and wonder if the painting sill be understood in it's context finally. Being an artist means it is very easy to get seduced by the wealth and have negative feelings. I have learned not to compare myself with others and that the best art comes from difficult times. it is for art that i carry on. it is for art that the world must be made new.
I have just visited an art show called "The Other Side Of The Alamo". Which was an art show with an oppositional view of the Alamo. Full of Latin artists the show had great works of art. I also went and visited a catholic church that was right next door and absorbed the great paintings and sculptures. It was easy to see the religious aesthetics that translated from the latin catholic church to Mexican american art. Both places were filled with great paintings and sculptures.
I still felt a bit uneasy about all the subject matter. I believe that my art is work that explores themes that trancend identity. I want to go beyond my physical person. Art that focuses on politics, narrative, race, class and power have a small perspective. Although I believe that this work is valid and absolutely has the right to exist. I want art that brings people together. I want art that explores the world at large. I need art to communicate to the other side of the world instead of friends, families and fans. I believe art inspired by the digital age can achieve these goals.
Art can save your soul. art at the core has a great energy that exists from the beginning of time. this is a healing, strengthening, peaceful energy. every painting ever made has this energy. this energy lives inside us all. like a great big universe. the universe will take care if us all. art will is and will always be the gateway.
I am working a lot on my craft. everyday i make new work. i notices that i sharing my art in social media becomes harder and harder. i like posting on my blog i look forward to sharing with you on here. my website is my greatest work of art. i like that i can share with you all. im an artist so i know how to both create and destroy. i delete so much off social media. i swear that i will never delete anything off my blog. here is the my work in its rarest form.
The world is very big. So big that people can live entire lives just in one place. It is very difficult to look beyond to see one another. An artist is the exception. For only artists can see beyond their limitations. With the use of imagination an artist can connect with anothers life. this is one of the many values in art. the value is to simple the complexity of the world at large and present it all in the form of a painting.
i am thinking about my art. what i like is how fresh it all feels. reading through art history and looking at my art now I see the differences and similarities to great art of the past. ive been thinking of name to call it.
Here is a new piece I call "Artwave no.1". i wanted to get back to my vaporwave roots. i believe now that digital art is the future. i must make as much digital works of art from here on out. Here we are, we are officially in the future. I WENT THROUGH A TWO YEAR JOURNEY INTO ART HISTORY. And now that its all over this what I was made for.
one thing i enjoy about making digital art is how fast it is. its great. i love it a lot. i would like to make as much digital art as I can.
I hope that when you read this, you have finally come to see the immense power of technology. Although I'm losing faith in tech idealism, I still believe that having a goal in sight is inevitably helpful for future generations. I genuinely believe that technology can save our society. Maybe not in my life time, but maybe some day in the future.
Getting banned from one of my favorite websites and this is what it feels like. Well, it feels bitter sweet. I visit the site daily and now i feel down about never going back. But you know what? I kind of feel okay about it all. I feel more free. As if the poison is slowly getting sucking out my body. I do spend a lot of time online surfing the web.
I think that if you haven't been banned somewhere, then you're not living life to the fullest.
I believe that having freedom in today's world is becoming very rare. I hate to think how future artists will continue to grow and create when the rules that confine are restricting and brutal.
I think for the most part I have way more free time to enjoy and work on myself. Part of that poison I was talking about was actually neglect. I neglected a great deal and now that I am being forced out of an attention trap I can now strive to be twice as productive.
