WOW! I came across a beautiful find!
9 Beauty Trends That Blew Up on the Fall 2019 Runways by LAUREN VALENTI is a Vogue article I was reading. Valenti describes a fashion show where "Oscar de la Renta presented an array of brushed-out curl looks, while 3.1 Phillip Lim and Halpern each embraced a crimped texture reminiscent of Pre-Raphaelite locks."
Here is the Pre-Raphaelite painting I instantly remembered. I read about this painting in Sexual Personae by Camille Paglia. Paglia writes "Dante Gabriel Rossetti, The Lady Lilith, 1968. Adam's sinister first wife with flowers, including magic foxglove on the vanity table, normally bloom at different times of the year. So this is mythological woman, queen of nature."
I think this is very beautiful! <3
